Cypress Bay High School welcomes all student filmmakers to submit their best work for a night filled with laughs and popcorn! Students can submit videos from a rage of categories to be selected and win prizes!
Get to walk the red carpet before the event, and experience all that student filmmaking in South Florida has to offer!
We encourage students to submit videos across a variety of engaging categories, including Best Picture, Best Documentary, Best Comedy, and more. This is a fantastic opportunity for young filmmakers to have their talents recognized, compete for prizes, and celebrate the art of cinema with their peers.
Whether you're a filmmaker or simply a fan of film, this festival promises to be a night to remember, showcasing the diverse talents of our student community.
The director(s) of the film must have been in high school or younger during production. Middle School Students are welcome to submit to the Middle School Category!
All films must be uploaded directly to FilmFreeway and made downloadable; otherwise, they will not be considered for selection and screening. Please ensure that the “Download Permissions” in your project file's privacy settings is set to allow festivals to download your video.
We highly recommend checking your audio levels thoroughly and ensuring that your audio is not limited to a single channel (i.e., right or left).
Please avoid submitting via a YouTube link, as they cannot be downloaded.
Do not submit films in 4K. Please submit your film in 1080 HD or lower. Any film files that are larger than 2GB will not be accepted.
